Sticky Situation--Prompt 12

When you woke up this morning, you didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. Oddly enough, it turned into a day you would never forget. Write a story that starts with this phrase: "If if weren't for that (fill in the blank), I wouldn't be stuck in this pickle," and ends with "And that's how I ended up duct-taped to the (fill in the blank).
